Things have moved on a lot since Roger Penny started hiring out tractors from his garden, and we are very pleased that our site in Ston Easton near Bath has its own workshop, with a dedicated staff supported by a transport manager.
This benefits our customers in three main ways: our equipment is maintained in excellent condition; any problems can be sorted out rapidly on-site, saving any delays; the plant and equipment is looked after by mechanics who know it extremely well, and whom we can trust.
A fabulous fleet of lorries, trucks, and plant equipment
Have a look at our plant hire and transport, and you’ll see how smart and well-turned out all our vehicles are. Their appearance reflects what’s going on under their bonnets – these are well-maintained vehicles, and any fault, however minor, is dealt with immediately by our on-site mechanics. We appreciate how essential reliable equipment is to you, and we work hard to keep it that way.
Making sure your project runs on time
We’ve found that having an on-site workshop saves both you and us a lot of time. Repairs or parts can be worked on immediately, without the hassle of having to book the vehicles or equipment into an off-site workshop. We want your project to keep moving – so we’ll make sure all our plant and vehicles do too!
RM Penny’s expert team
Many of our mechanical team have been with us for years – and they know our fleet and equipment, literally inside out.
Nothing beats having your vehicles maintained by people with that level of knowledge. The result – one of the most reliable plant hire and excavation services in the South West.
